CARPASUS founder and CEO René looks back on our anniversary year.
2025. What a year!
2025 was a special year. Not only because we celebrated our 10th anniversary, but also because of many other highlights I’d love to share with you here. We gave ourselves a new look, celebrated our birthday, met and portrayed inspiring people, designed beautiful shirts from leftover fabrics – which even landed us in the media – and we took part in the ESC… well, almost. But see for yourself.
Everything new at CARPASUS. Almost
CARPASUS in a new look.
Last year, we completely refreshed our visual identity. With great anticipation, we launched our new webshop in March. We introduced a new claim (“Shirts. Made for good.”), a new visual language, more videos, and an updated typography. The new look is meant to reflect our values: joie de vivre and a nonchalant style paired with quality and sustainability. We think we did a pretty good job. What do you think?
Anniversary.
10 years of good shirts.
Hard to believe, but last year we already celebrated our 10th anniversary! For 10 years, we’ve been showing that shirts can be beautiful, high-quality, and at the same time made from environmentally friendly natural materials. At this point, a heartfelt thank-you once again to you, all our customers and partners, who have accompanied us on this journey. We celebrated our birthday in style with a party in St. Gallen!
More is more.
Commitment to support Cotton communities.
From the very beginning, the core of CARPASUS has been a commitment to a more sustainable fashion industry. Guided by this principle, we set new impulses last year. In addition to the CAREpasus care and repair service, our new Trade-In programme now makes it possible to keep garments in circulation for longer. Used CARPASUS items can be traded in and will be given a new life in the future.
With our "1% for Better" initiative, we are donating 1% of our annual turnover for the first time this year to the bioRe® Foundation, which supports organic cotton farmers in India and Tanzania.
Strengthening the community.
Portraying Passionate People.
We launched our CARPASUS Portraits series. We are fascinated by people who follow their passion and turn their ideas and dreams into reality—people who, so to speak, give their last shirt for their passion. At regular intervals, we therefore present inspiring people from our close and wider community. We ask them a few questions, dress them in their favourite CARPASUS outfit, and portrait them. You can find the interviews in our Journal.
Beautiful things from leftovers.
Success with the Carbasina Edition.
In May, we launched a limited edition of linen shirts, all made from leftover fabrics generated during sampling or production. The shirts sold out quickly. A few final pieces are still available ;). The idea was also loved by NZZ, which featured us on a full A4 page in the NZZ am Sonntag magazine. I called home: “Mom, we made it!”
Something new for the cold season.
First knitwear collection launched.
We see ourselves as a shirt brand. Obviously. Nevertheless, in cold weather it’s nice to complement your shirt with a warm sweater or protect your ears with a beanie. That’s why, for the first time, we launched a small but fine knitwear collection made from certified merino and virgin wool, and we’re thrilled that it’s been so well received by all of you.
Always on the move.
Between Zurich, St. Gallen, and the world.
At the beginning of 2025, we left our temporary store in Zurich at Albisriederplatz and have since been refocusing on our location in St. Gallen. This development created space for trade fair appearances in Winterthur, Zurich, and Lucerne, as well as a multi-week popup at RRREVOLVE Zurich. In addition, we are excited to welcome new partner stores worldwide to our list of retailers this year.
One for the Team!
CARPASUS for Teams.
This year as well, we were able to carry out many exciting projects for corporate clients. Among others, the helpers of BKB at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel last year were dressed in our T-shirts.
